About me

Hi, my name is Issara (if you're wondering, my parents were hippies and that's how I got my name).

I started UX in Motion because I've witnessed first hand how having UI Animation in your design tool-belt can change your life, and add value to the user, the product, and the business.

If you're looking to make your design portfolio more competitive to get that awesome high paying tech job, or if you're simply looking to take more ownership of your design process, or if you're looking to attract new clients and raise your rate, all by making yourself more valuable, you've come to the right place!

I help UX/UI & Product Designers learn and deploy UI animation fast.

For the last 15 years, I've been working on projects for clients including Microsoft, HBO, T-Mobile, Facebook, Twitter, Xbox, MTV, Motorola, Target, Amazon, Nordstrom, UNAIDS, IDEO, and Artefact to name a few.

I've also personally trained the design teams at companies including Dropbox, Airbnb, Slack, Oracle, Salesforce, Kayak, MindBody, and more.

Over the years I've seen firsthand the value that high fidelity UI animation can bring to the product design workflow. Simply put, it is compelling, convincing, and galvanizing.

I've also observed that it's so much easier that most designers think to learn After Effects and turn their projects into polished UI animation.

I also observed that designers are always under deadline, always pressed for time. They simply don't have 3 months to invest in a long online training or course.

That's why I created UX in Motion. I wanted to share 15 years of best practices and industry tips and strategies, plus the training that I wish I had when I first started learning this stuff.

Because ultimately I am my customer. My background is in design and UX and this is the training I wished were available when I started.

Having taught thousands of UX/UI & Product designers both online and through my live onsite workshops, I've seen how easy this is to learn.

Yes, After Effects looks intimidating. But I'll hold your hand and only show you what you need to learn to get the job done well and fast.
