UI Animation Certification Course Modules
1. UI Animation Core Techniques (110 minutes)
In this module, participants will learn essential and foundational After Effects UI Animation skills including the UI Animation workflow, parenting, anchor point, masks, track mattes, cascade animations, and keyboard shortcuts.
2. Importing Designs (55 minutes)
In this module, participants will learn how to integrate with Product Design teams and projects made in a variety of design tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop.
3. UI Animation Motion Standards (95 minutes)
In this module, participants will learn how to create shippable and ‘handoff ready’ animation by deploying or creating Motion Standards in their UI Animation projects. Participants will learn industry standard duration and easing systems, how to implement these directly in After Effects, and how to communicate with their engineering team.
4. Plugins (33 minutes)
In this module, participants will learn how to accelerate their workflow while delivering higher quality and more consistent UI Animation work with industry leading After Effects plugins.
5. UI Animation Fundamentals (317 minutes)
In this module, participants will learn best practices around building more complex UI Animations using presets, sequencing and choreographing transitions, and how to build longer, more complex projects with nested and looping sequences.

7. Dashboard Animations (153 minutes)
In this module, participants will learn how to animate a multitude of data visualization scenarios including animating graphs and numbers, shape boundaries, paths, fills, and radial progress bars.
8. Augmented Reality (91 minutes)
In this module, participants will learn how to create visually stunning Augmented Reality prototypes by combining live action video with design visuals. Participants will learn how to use 3D camera trackers, 2D planer trackers, depth of field, compositing, screen replacement, and color grading.
9. 3D UI Animation (100 minutes)
In this module, participants will dive deep into the world of 3D UI interactions and learn how to set up 3D scenes, utilize lights, cameras, depth of field, nesting scenes, and 3D folding.
10. Effects (35 minutes)
In this module, participants will learn how to deploy important prototyping effects including how to turn layers into blurred glass, create counting numbers, and more.
