Intro to UI Animation with Adobe After Effects

In this 90 minute live workshop, you will finally learn the complete Adobe After Effects UI Animation workflow.

Even though most UX/UI & Product Designers would love to be able to create stunning animations from their designs, most feel overwhelmed and intimidated by the After Effects interface.

Even worse, right now the market is so intense and competitive that while having motion in your portfolio will set you apart from the herd, it can be discouraging to even know where to start.

By the end of the workshop you will completely feel at ease in Adobe After Effects.

  •   Eliminate the feeling of overwhelm that sinks in when you open or start working in After Effects
  •   Demystify cool animations you’ve seen and how to create them with ease in After Effects
  •   Give life to your existing project assets and design files to make your portfolio stand out, or get stakeholder buy-in on your ideas
  •   Instantly gain a new design superpower and create UI animation with confidence

You will understand the tools, workflows and best practices required to create professional UI motion from your design files.

This workshop requires no previous experience in Adobe After Effects or motion.

This workshop will completely demystify After Effects for you, and by the end, you will have a complete understanding of the workflow

In the workshop, you will build a portfolio case study UI Animation project, complete with portfolio assets.

This is your chance. In 90 minutes you will have broken through the After Effects wall, and gained the experience and knowledge to take your skills to the next level and give your portfolio the edge you need.

If you’ve ever looked at those animations on Dribbble or on real world products and wondered how they’re made, or wanted to deliver your own animations, now is the time.

You will learn:

  • How to get your Figma design into After Effects
  • How to animate your project like a rockstar
  • How to animate Shape Layers in After Effects
  • How to create smooth professional animation
  • How to export video for your portfolio

“There’s an idiom: those who can, do; those who can’t, teach. – which I’m very happy to report is not the case with Issara, he ‘does’ and ‘teaches’ brilliantly. Issara clearly represents an incredible amount of talent and experience, so getting an opportunity to send our designers to train with him was a great opportunity at a great price. Issara got our folks thinking, iterating, and delivering motion at a whole deeper level. We trusted him with one third of our talent, and he over-delivered on our investment. The UX in Motion training helped Artefact’s ability to create great motion deliverables, accelerate timelines, and save us money on contracts we would normally spend on outside motion vendors. I have no hesitation in recommending his best in class training to any other product design company looking to remain competitive.”
